MESA International 2013 North American Conference April 22-24 in Greenville, SC

 
 
MESA International’s 2013 North American Conference is scheduled for April 22-24 in Greenville, SC.  With the theme Show the world what MESA knows, this event, which will be held in conjunction with the IndustryWeek Best Plants Conference, is a meeting of manufacturers, producers, industry leaders and solution providers and is intended to help companies understand and leverage modern information technologies to change the game for their operations and their business.

“Far too few companies can align today’s Information Technologies with their business strategies when it comes to their manufacturing and production operations,” said Michael Yost, president, MESA International.  “The MESA community knows how to do that and how to capitalize on the significant financial and operational gains that can follow.  We are excited for the opportunity to show the world what MESA knows.”

The conference kicks off on Monday, April 22 with the MESA International Business Forum, an open-to-the-public meeting that will include discussion about MESA accomplishments and future objectives, the IACET-accredited Global Education Program, and an International Board meeting.  This open forum is followed by the MESA unConference, 4 sessions moderated by experienced MESA professionals designed to help attendees address their most pressing challenges through peer discussion and idea sharing.

MESA International Announces Newly Formed Americas Board of Directors

Creation of Regional Board shapes organization’s global outlook
and perspective for the future

MESA International announced today the creation of an Americas Board of Directors. This new structure is intended to provide greater insight into the needs of the Americas region and to give MESA the ability to focus on to the specific regional requirements and issues of its members. Dennis Brandl, founder and chief consultant for BR&L Consulting, has been named Chairman, Americas Board of Directors, MESA International.

Commenting on this change, Mike Yost, president, MESA International said, “As MESA continues to grow and expand globally, we need to ensure we are serving both the global and regional needs of our members and partners. This new structure is intended to allow the International Board to provide strategic vision and direction globally while gaining greater insight into the specific regional requirements and issues of our members.”

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead the Americas Board of Directors for MESA,” said Brandl. “With this change, we are creating a stronger voice for the Americas and are strengthening our ability to serve the specific needs of our growing and dynamic manufacturing marketplace.
